Access to lifesaving CPR and safety training in Pensacola just became a whole lot more convenient. CarePoint Resources, a provider of open-enrollment and on-site American Heart Association training, has partnered with newly formed Seacrest Fitness Company to offer monthly American Heart Association CPR classes in Pensacola. The new location is conveniently located near Pensacola Regional Airport and Sacred Heart Hospital at 6420 North 9th Avenue.
"High-quality CPR training is something that every person needs, and our partnership with Seacrest Fitness Co. will make it easier for members of the community to have access to this lifesaving skill," explains Randy Boone, instructor and CEO for CarePoint Resources.
The types of classes that will be offered appeal to those in the healthcare field, business and industry, as well as the community. "Whether you are a seasoned healthcare provider, a business owner with staff to train, or a concerned family member, we have an American Heart Association course for you," says Randy. As an added convenience, most of the classes can be completed with an online component to accompany the hands-on training.
CPR classes at Seacrest Fitness will be offered on the last Saturday of every month. Due to the upcoming Easter weekend, the first class being offered will be Saturday, March 19th. Seating for the classes is limited, so those interested should reserve their seat early by registering at the CarePoint Resources website, www.carepointresources.com. CarePoint is also offering a discount on the training for members of Seacrest Fitness Company.
Randy explains the importance of CPR training, "We know that about every 90 seconds another person's heart stops beating properly, and the best chance for that person to survive is for bystanders to immediately begin CPR and use an AED. Our goal with this additional location is to see more lives saved by making this most important training more convenient to the Pensacola community."
